The happening was short and simple.

Both of Sai's parents were killed in a mass attack. Fifty faeries and eight humans had been killed.

Luckily, Sai had withdrawn from his parents after he saw the hung man when he was five. But his heart was hollow, his eyes blank.

He began to notice that he was surrounded by death.

Sai was sent to live with his uncle, who had heard about Sai's problems. He was a kind man, well, actually, he was nineteen. And Sai immediately took a liking to him.

For the moment, he was free of his troubles.

But the power began to show itself, day...by day...

He was still a normal little boy when it happened. His parents took him to the beach, and he was exctited. He wanted to make a sandcastle, and the best sand came from the edge of the forest.

So that's where he went.

He was walking along, innocent and all, and then stopped. He smelled something...strange. A new scent. (he didm't know, but this was when he began to develop the sense of blood)
Confused but unafraid, he looked aroun, and at that moment...

Something large and round fell on him. It looked like a decayed ball (go away, freud), but it slowly, slowly turned to face him.

He was half right. Decayed it was, but it was a human head. The lips had worn away, along with the eyelids, leaving a madman look. bugs crawled all over

So Sai screamed. His first encounter with death, the cause of the other disasters.

The cause of his power.

its so scary...
there are boys in china my age that wear shorts shorter than girls wear and pants tighter than mine. I thought I was surrounded by gays until my mom said it was normal.
Still, the thought of 'normal' scares me.
I also saw a mosquito/fly humping another one.
NOT A GOOD SIGHT
But i bought the coolest ring while watching the bugs have sex. You wear one on your indeax and one on your pinkie, and it's connected by a tiny, loose chain.
It goes well with the chainmail bracelet Martini got.

This is kinda half AI, half The House

"I wanna go there. Please. I want my mommy to love me (go away, Freud)."
I shook my head sadly. "No, my child. You've been frozen for fifteen thousand years. Not only do you contain the last connection to humans, but..."
His glass eyes misted. "What?" he asked shakily.
"You get live until you turn off or break down, child, but humans grow to old. Your mommy has been asleep for a very, very long time."
He fell silent, lonely. The last humaniod robot ever made. The last one to talk to a human. The last one that had learned to love; learned to feel sorrow.
But then he looked up at me, determined. "Fifteen thousand years, then. Can't you clone her? I miss her."
Of course. Once a robot has been programmed to love, it must be destroyed when the human stops living.
I frowned. "Yes, we can. But once she falls asleep again, she will die once more. You have only one day with her, but if you wait a century, we can make her yours for a longer time."
"You mean...you can't re-clone her?"
"I'm afraid not."
The boy sighed. "Today. Now."

He walked into his old home, frantically making his way to his mother's bedroom. Once he arrived, slowly, almost afraid, he opened the door.
And his mother was there, peaceful in her sleep.
"Mommy. Mommy, wake up."
The woman sniffed, and then her eyes flew open. "David?"

He did not want to go through the details with me, but he told me it was the best day of his life.

The next morning, I searched the house for David. When I found him, he was with his mother, finally asleep, finally dreaming, in happiness.

We robots never got the chance to aske him what emotion was. We never figured out what dreaming was either.

David, the last robot.

He is finally at rest. His frames have long since rusted, but his face is still intact. The most beautiful, gentle face, the only robot child with humans, sleeping.

Forever.

"Yes, child, I've found a way for me to get rid of you."
"What is it now, Dad?" Kaia asked (completely different fic).
"I'm sending you to your brother."
Kaia raised her eyebrows. "You're disowning me?" she asked sweetly. "What a treat."
...

Kaia entered the cab and squeezed in her bags.
"Destination?" the driver asked softly.
Kaia jumped. The driver's voice was soft and gentle, but a black rose kind of gentle.
"Seiparre. "
The guy (from his voice) nodded and began to drive.
"Sky is his name, right?"
Kaia frowned with disbelief. He knew her brother's name! He knew she even had a brother! He knew the cause of travel too! Who was he?
"Yes, my brother's name is Sky," she said cooly. "And mine's Kaia Aante."
"Sai Dreita," the driver replied, a little quieter. "You don't react much, do you?"
Kaia gave a small grin. "I was taught never to show panic."
The two conversed for a while, and Kaia found out that Sai was actually rich enough to not be a cabbie, but he worked out of boredom.
TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
